ARC Electric

When should I call an emergency electrician?

Call an emergency electrician immediately for burning smells or smoke from a panel or device, sparking outlets, repeated breaker trips that reset and trip again, someone receiving a shock, partial power on multiple circuits, or any energized water or flooding near panels. For life-threatening situations, call 911 first; ARC Electric offers 24/7 dispatch for urgent electrical hazards when safe to do so.

Urgent vs next-day issues

A single tripped breaker that resets once and stays on may be a temporary overload. Repeated trips, warm breakers, or buzzing at the panel are higher priority.

If you are unsure, describe symptoms to our office—we will help you decide whether to schedule same-day service.
